Budget Cut Updates

At this time many of you are aware that the proposed cuts to service the Sullivan Administration put forth were denied by the Anchorage Assembly and the local Community Councils. To this administrations credit we have gone the entire year (2010) without any significant closures to our front-line responding apparatus that would essentially take away your emergency service. As we look forward to 2011 and an increase in population along with call volume we hope that this will be the practice throughout the New Year.
